Sacred Heart Catholic School Celebrates Read Across America Day

National Read Across America Day is held annually on March 2 - Dr. Seuss's birthday!

The National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America initiative is a "year-round program [that] focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources."

Sacred Heart Catholic School proudly celebrates Read Across America Day with a full schedule of events all week long. Community leaders, guest readers, and Student Council officers read books to younger students and the entire school promotes literacy with activities, discussions, and reading opportunities.
