This Week At Sacred Heart Catholic School (September 4-10, 2016)

In addition to the regular news blog postings, "This Week At Sacred Heart Catholic School" posts are intended to give a quick run down of important events and highlight announcements and key information for parents, students, faculty and staff on a (mostly) weekly basis.

What's Happening This Week:

  • There will be no school on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, September 6th.
  • NWEA-MAP testing continues all week long. Make-up tests will also be administered for any student who missed their classes scheduled testing days. It is imperative that all students attend classes everyday this week.
  • On Wednesday, September 7th at 10:00 A.M., Michael Fischer from Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson will be making a presentation to the 8th Grade students to discuss their academic future.
  • Progress Reports and DIBELS Test Parent Reports will be sent home on Friday, September 9th.
  • The annual Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Festival will be held September 9th - 11th. For more information regarding the Parish Festival please contact the Parish at (520) 287-9221.

Important Events Happening Next Week:

  • There will be no school on Tuesday, September 13th due to a Teacher In-Service.
  • The 101st Annual Santa Cruz County Fair will be held from September 16th - 18th. Sacred Heart Catholic School students will have artwork and class projects on display.
