Padres: Ayúdenos Con La Carroza Del Desfile Anual de Luz Navideña

Queridos padres y guardianes,

Gracias,

Vanessa Rothstein
Directora
Escuela Católica Sagrado Corazón

Parents: Help Us With The Holiday Light Parade Float

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Annual City of Nogales Holiday Light Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.

Sacred Heart Catholic School has always had a float entered in the parade. In the past Student Council was in charge of this event. This year we are expanding the participation and creativity of this event and asking that all Room Parents and any parents who still need mandatory volunteer hours assist in this endeavor.

There will be a float planning meeting on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. in Sheridan Hall. All Room Parents are asked to attend this meeting if possible.

The theme for this year’s float is “Winter Wonderland” consisting of a gingerbread house, Christmas tree, snowman, holiday candy decorations, etc. Students will be dressing up as angels, elves, snowmen, gingerbread kids, woodland critters, and various holiday characters (to be assigned by grade level).

The following items are needed:

  • Flatbed Trailer
  • Truck to pull trailer
  • Generator
  • Christmas lights
  • Materials for costumes, props, and backdrops
  • Happy, hard working parents willing to make the Sacred Heart Catholic School holiday float the best ever!

If you are interested in volunteering or donating items and services please contact the principal directly at (520) 287-2223 as soon as possible.

Thank you!
