Read Across America Celebration Week

Sacred Heart Catholic School celebrates the National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America initiative with a full schedule of events held during the week of National Read Across America Day.

Community leaders, guest readers, and Student Council officers read books to younger students and the entire school promotes literacy with activities, discussions, and reading opportunities.

World Food Day

"World Food Day is a day of action against hunger. On October 16, people around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate hunger in our lifetime. Because when it comes to hunger, the only acceptable number in the world is zero."

Sacred Heart Catholic School will be collecting monetary donations from student's families and the community that will go towards the World Food Day initiative to end global hunger.
